About the course

Feedback avoidance is silent. A manager says nothing for months, the employee has no fair chance to adjust, and when the review arrives, it feels like an ambush. By then, resentment has already spread to the team. This course teaches you to plan, deliver, and follow up on feedback conversations that actually land—from day-to-day course corrections to difficult performance talks.

You'll learn the SBI structure (Situation, Behaviour, Impact) to turn vague complaints into specific, actionable statements. You'll master the routing decision: when to give feedback, through which channel, and in what setting so the message doesn't trigger defensiveness. You'll rehearse your delivery in live role-play, test your phrasing for hedge words and accusations, and walk through how to listen to the response and close the conversation with clear next steps.

This course is built for first-time managers who need to give feedback but haven't done it before, or who have tried and watched it backfire. It assumes you manage a team and have at least one real feedback conversation in mind when you start.

You leave with a reusable feedback framework, scripts adapted to your own team, and one rehearsed delivery under your belt.
